Description

Kiln-dried clay granules absorb up to several times their own weight in oil, diesel and most workshop liquids. The 15kg / 22-litre bag is the workshop standard — keep one or two next to the spill kit at all times. Cost-effective for routine drips, brake fluid leaks and general non-hazardous spills.

Health & Safety

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses when handling spilled chemicals
• Don't use on aggressive acids or strong oxidisers — use a chemical-rated absorbent instead
• Used absorbent saturated with hydrocarbons is classified as hazardous waste — dispose via a licensed waste contractor
• Sweep up promptly — soaked absorbent on the floor is a slip hazard

How to use

Sprinkle a generous layer over the spill, fully covering the wet area. Allow 1–5 minutes for the granules to absorb the liquid (longer for thick oils). Sweep up with a stiff broom into a metal scoop or shovel and transfer to a sealed waste container. Repeat if any residue remains. Wash the surface with a degreaser for the final pass.
