Description

Wheel Boss is formulated as the safe, daily-use wheel cleaner: powerful enough to break down sintered brake dust and road film, but pH-balanced enough to use on alloy, chrome, painted, polished and ceramic-coated wheels with no risk of etching, hazing or discolouration. Spray on, dwell, agitate and rinse — the classic colour-change indicator turns red as it reacts with iron particles, so you can see it working.

• Avoid contact with eyes — rinse with water for 15 minutes if splashed
• Wear nitrile gloves for repeated use
• Use in a ventilated area — the iron-reaction releases a mild sulphurous odour during dwell
• Do not allow to dry on the wheel — rinse before drying
• SDS available on request. Store in a cool dry area

How to use

Decant into a trigger spray bottle or pressure sprayer. Pre-rinse the wheel to remove loose grit. Apply Wheel Boss generously to a cool wheel — never hot from driving. Allow 2–5 minutes of dwell time (you'll see the red colour change as it reacts with iron). Agitate with a wheel brush, paying attention to spokes, lug nuts and the inside barrel. Rinse thoroughly with clean water from top down. Dry with a clean microfibre. For ceramic-coated wheels, re-apply a wheel sealant if you've used Wheel Boss more than 4 washes in a row.
